same situation

Clip to ScrapBook
I am really in the same situation. My husband doesn't want to move to California, Texas, etc. We want to stay in Maine-where there is absolutely no shortage-if anything there is an over abundance of qualified, extremely well trained people who are dying to teach. I was an Ed. Tech. last year in the town that I live in. I also did my student teaching there-while I was working(very hard to do). When it came time to apply for open positions there-I didn't even get an interview!!!! It felt awful! I had worked so hard there with two special ed. students and brought them academically where they should be and I didn't even get an interview. I don't know why????? Who knows, its a mind boggling process-applying/interviewing for jobs. It makes me sick.
