Do these kids consider themselves dating? I'm just wondering because a fellow teacher of mine has a son. When he was in 3rd grade, he had a relationship with a little girl in his class that sounds similar to the one that you are talking about. They were just the best of friends and did everything together. They didn't think of each other in a dating way...they were just there for each other. It was actually very cute.
But I would watch, just in case. Not all kids are like the two that I'm referring to.
