Michelle,
your words were encouraging to me too. I also just had my very first interview this past Saturday, at a job fair. I too felt like I did poorly. The interview was conducted in a loud cafeteria, I could barely hear the principal interviewing me, and my concentration was totally off. I felt like I sounded like an idiot, and to top it off, the surrounding noise was also distracting the principal. There were a couple of times when she would turn her attention elsewhere when I was answering her question. Your comment about feeling disrespected by the interviewer made me re-think the whole experience, and I don't feel nearly as bad as I did then. Thanks Michelle!
