Kelley, I am certified (5-9) & (9-12) English & History. I didn't take the tests for History, but I had to take 5 tests for English certification: (1) MS, (2) Secondary, (3) Content, (4) Liberal Arts & (5) Basics. I got lucky with the second certification...I paid my money and ran. Away six months later it showed up in the mail. I have taken the GRE & MAT also the GRE subject, so I pretty much H*A*T*E standardized tests. We're in a conundrum in our state, just taking the test is subject for media and public scrutiny.Good luck! mb
