Thank you so much for sharing this poem with us. It has been a very difficult week and this poem reminds us all to live and enjoy the present moment. I have found that I am hugging my family members more, taking time to enjoy the small things with my five year old, and that I have finally realized how lucky I am to be alive today. Sometimes as teachers, we get caught up in the negatives but if we focus on the positives we have so much influence on others. A kind word to a student is priceless and may never be forgotten. Let's enjoy today and focus on the small stuff that inspires us daily!
