Relax!

To recharge my inner flame, I am relaxing, sleeping late, cooking, going out on weeknights, and particularly cherishing my Sundays (because during the school year I usually do all of my planning all day on Sundays). Basically, I do all of the things I just don't have time for during the school year, and I remind myself that being a teacher has its perks. I also savor beautiful days and warmth and try to remind myself of these days in the dead of winter when I have an observation, report cards, and grading hanging over my head, and it is bitter cold outside! Enjoy your summer!
