Your story about the kindergarten girl reminded me of something that happened in my classroom more than twenty years ago...We are in a very rural area, and had just moved into a new building with restrooms opening into the| classrooms. Most of our little boys had never seen a urinal but of course there was one in the Boys room. I was working across the room and noticed that one of my little fellows had been gone for quite a while..just then another little fellow came out the door and so dummy like I had to ask..."Alfred is John in there?" "Yahs maaaahammm"(remember we are in the south and you must read | |
this with a sloooooow soutnern drawl.)"What is he doing?" (of course as most teachers..thought he was playing and I had to ask!!!) "He's a#####tin' whare he's supposed to be apeein' at." HE WAS RIGHT!!! LOL When I went in there he sat, astraddle the urinal with toilet paper in hand!!!!! I still get the silly giggles thinking about my reaction!
