These are all so awesome and touching. We truly have one of the most special professions.
I love being able to cut up with my class and act silly. I love being told that I am the craziest teacher they have ever had.
I love being called mom or grandma. I love their special little gifts at Christmas time that they have picked out themselves, especially the pen in the black velvet case that was from a student who didn't even have running water at his house. I love the letters from parents thanking me for the job I've done with their child. I love when middle and high school students come back to see

me. I LOVE their hugs. I loved when they pulled off a surprise birthday party for me (the first actual surprise in 14 years). I had such a good bunch of kids this year. I would follow them to college.
