what I love about teaching

I am in awe at the look on little ones face when
when he/she finally has mastered a skill. The sticky fingers, and the great hugs and their belief that you can fix anything. When you tell a little joke and they understand| and laugh with you. The days when they are so silly and still think that the world is a wonderful place. That for some my classroom is a safe place where they can be kids and that for some I am the only stability they have. When I get hurt and they offer to kiss my booboo. When at the end of the day I can say I'm coming back tomorrow because they need me and I need them. To see | |
them at their 8th grade prom and graduation ceremony and know that I have been part of their lives as they have been part of mine. When they come back to visit when they are in high school and college just to say hello. I know that if I ever get to the point where I ccan't laugh and be silly with them, that is they day I pack it all in.
