Stress relief
By Sue

Clip to ScrapBook
For me, this board has helped. You always read about something that can help your situation.

Other Not so Amazing Tips from Sue:

Sometimes, I take big bubble baths in the mornings.(Who'd have thunk it?)

I read childrens
novels on the weekends.

I sometimes eat a couple of Hershey Kisses from the treat box when my students go to specials.

I paint my toe nails.

I wear the clover chains my students make for me.

I read the inspirational and funny emails that my friends forward to me.

I save every "love note" from a child and take them out to read. (After they have gone up on my wall.)

I sing

Multiplication Rock tunes. "I went to the four-legged zoo" is a real knee slapper.

I joke around with the custodians.

I whistle the tune to Andy Griffith while on bus duty. (This is very frustrating to those younger students who can't whistle. They are learning.)

I take guilt-free naps at home. (While my children are free to veg out on digimon - What am I thinking?)

I read my students' free-writing folders -- they can be a hoot.

In times of hectic commotion I will blurt out, "I spy with my naked eye something blue!" Everyone wants to play.

I stay up late on Friday and sleep late (8:00) on Saturday.

I like to smell crayons.

I hug my students every day.

I hug and kiss my own children every day.
