Hang in there. I came real close to the same thing happening to me last year and in this district it's a very real possibility until you earn tenure. Tenure takes 4 years + 1 day to earn--which can be vexing for someone who had tenure in two previous jobs and is in the 10th year of teaching. Are there any prospects in and around your area?
