Alternative Easter story

We were talking about the Easter story and one child asked me if Jesus' hands were still bleeding and full of holes when he 'went to heaven'. Before I could do my best to answer him, another student suggested Jesus must have healed himslef as he'd been 'quite good' at that before he died!Later that same week I asked what happened when Mary visited the tomb/cave after Jesus had beed crucified and a child answered 'She rolled the stone away and squashed hinm flat!' Another student interrupted with 'Then he went up to heaven to tell his Dad!'. These are two of my 'classic' moments that always bring a smile to my face!
