a modern name

I hope you can all bear with me as I share another story. When I was 24 years old I took a new job as a Resource teacher in a middle school. One day while I was supervising noon break two 8th grade girls came around to chat. They asked me my first name and I told them. They both immediately looked kind of shocked and then one of them said, "Wow, that's a pretty modern name for someone your age!" Imagine what they would think now that I am 40
