The Target field trip grant is awesome. Our 3rd grade got it 2 years ago and we were able to fund the charter buses to take our kids on a great trip that normally we wouldn't be able to do (and haven't been able to do since!). It didn't cost the kids a dime. Besides the grant, our parents also did some fund-raising to make sure the whole trip would be free.
