the "s" word! By Becky

I had something similar happen to me last year. One of my first graders came up to me very upset.
(T is teacher (me) S is the student)
S-"Ms. L., Robbie said a curse word at me."
At me? That's a new one!
T-"Which word did he say?"
S-"He said the s word."
T-"Which "s" word?"
S-"It's so bad I can't say it. Can I spell it?"
T-"Go for it!"
S-"Umm...s..um..s-h...a...t..s-h-a-t!"
I can difficulty containing my laughter! You have to give the little guy credit for knowing his digraphs...haha!
