Really sad
By Grace

Clip to ScrapBook
Please don't get bogged down in this vent board. Venting is OK for a while but then you need to move on. You talked about the terrorism thing. Well since I left college in 1973 and started teaching on the Shankill Road in
inner city Belfast I have lived under the terrorist threat. I have had children whose parents have been imprisoned, shot, killed etc. We had a horrific bomb within a few hundred yards of the school, numerous bombscares etc, but through it all people have kept a sense of humour and we have all kept going. You can't give up. In my case school was the only secure thing in their lives. If you
want to make a difference then you have to keep going otherwise the terrorists win. Only you can lift yourself out of the depths. Steer clear of the vent for awhile and have a look at the inspirations board instead. Even find something to write on the inspirations board. It might make you feel better. I struggled with a really hard class at the beginning of term, but I decided that only my attitude could save me so I tried to be positive and it has worked. That is why I am writing this answer to you. Have a good Halloween and I hope things are better for you soon.Grace
