Lately I have been thinking of just quitting and working at Starbuck's or something. I would probably make close to what I make now if I worked full time. I am having a mid-life crisis with my job, but I'm only 24. My main point in my original message was that I just can't believe that teachers put up with all of this. I guess we do it because deep down we DO feel the rewards and love the children. But it's SO ridiculous. I am at a loss for words as far as what else to say about it. I guess I can say that every day feels like the same to me- every day feels like my worst day. Oh, and I have tried to get into another school, but they are trying to "trap" us into the bad schools so the turnover rate isn't so high. It's a nice thought, but it is not going to work. It's going to backfire into a bunch of negative teachers.
