accountability
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
I think we are all getting tired of hearing this word. Pressures come down from the state to have better school districts. Superintendents then pressure principals to have better schools. Principals pressure teachers to
have better students. However, we face a lot of stumbling blocks to making kids better students. We don't always have parent participation and involvement. We have behavior problems which do not seem to improve. Children aren't reliable about doing their homework or studying. Children are lazy, some of them, and don't really care if they are in school or not.

It would be a pleasure,

Heather, if we could just relax and teach. However, I am with you. It is an exhausting and frustrating experience getting students and parents to be accountable themselves.
