Not to make light of your problem
By Laura

Clip to ScrapBook
Not to make light of your problem, you should be thankful to have any planning periods. I am a sped teacher with 22 high needs students each one of whom generates about 6 lbs of paperwork and I have students ALL day with no planning periods. I do not have time to assess or in anyway test my students, write up IEPs, plan lessons, make copies, or do any of the millions of things that I need to do during the school day. Just to get half of my stuff done I have to come to school at about 5:30 am and stay until 5 pm (without any extra pay)and I still can't get or stay caught up. I would give anything for one planning period a week!
