I feel your pain...

We, too, got networked over the summer. I turned my computer on the first week of school, however, it hadn't yet been set up to work with the network. I was thankful that at least the computer was working, and loaded a few programs which I had bought. I got the kids all excited about these great reading and writing programs. Two days later my computer would not turn on. Some power box (sorry I am not a computer hardware person) thing had burnt out, according to our Comp Administrator, which he implied was no big deal to get fixed. Seven weeks later and my computer is still collecting dust... (And the computer desk has become an extra desk for projects, etc.)
