Stress etc.
By Grace

Clip to ScrapBook
Reggie, I think maybe you are in the wrong school for you. I teach in a tough inner city school. I have lots of demanding and special needs kids. I never get a second to myself in class. I am sitting here to de-stress myself
and wind down for the weekend. One thing I do have is a great bunch of colleagues. We have a great laugh in the middle of all the stress. We have a moan now and again but it usually turns into a bit of a laugh. It's the only way to survive in this kind of a school. If you have no light relief like this maybe you should try another school. I don't know where you both teach, but an inner
city school is never " the same old thing". It's always looking for some new way of getting through to children who have seen it all ( at 7 and 8 ). If you work in a school where everyone moans all the time it will affect how you feel and even affect your health. Negative people are depressing. Try somewhere else and good luck. Grace
