Clip to ScrapBook
Hi...I hear what you are saying..I actually have one student who I DO not write "bad" notes home to because it DOES end up with lickins...
MY ticket system goes both ways...
it is a reward they work for( to cash in
for prizes at the end of the week)..but it is also a consequence system...
it is very effective with the other kids bc they work hard to get rewarded tickets so they need to be smart or they lose some..
Bc most of his actions are blantently breaking rules...writing with pen when we are NOT aloud etc
I cant just not give him tickets bc they dont get tickets for that kind of stuff
they just need to do it...
He knows the rules...hes smart...he just doesnt want to do certain things...a bit immature I guess...and I do not give in so he gets mad...
Mom may but I grew up on tough love...and that is how I deal with my class...
I think I will just inforcing the rules and if he crys... walk away...not let his tears make me feel bad..bc he knows the rules and makes the choice to break them so he needs to deal with the consequence...
If I thought it was abuse or repremanding at home I would NEVER but I know thats not the case..
infact I think he is downright spoiled and thats part of the problem...
Ill keep everyone posted...thanks....
