No medication is without side effects. The goal is always to take the least amount of medication to get the desired results. As children grow their needs change. Doctors and parents have a responsibility to check the level of medications periodically. It's the only way they can know what dose is really needed. I know its frustrating for you. I've been in the same situation. You are doing what you need to do, which is documenting his behavior. Time will tell what he needs. Hang in there.
