I totally agree. We have early outs on a different day of the week which is a pain in the **** for two reasons. First, we have to attend similar "workshops". One of them was on doing reading assessments which I already know how to do - waste of time. Secondly, even if the meeting is worthwhile it goes on for twice as long as it needs to. And with the early out you lose that half a day with your kids and it totally throws me off every week. I don't know. I feel the same way you do. I see papers piling up, projects I need to set up but don't get to, etc. I need more hours in the day or less WASTED time. Good luck!
