I am trying to lighten the load
By Sue

Clip to ScrapBook
You know, I posted the same question a few weeks ago. I was doing the same thing as you. Now, I am lightening the load. I left school today with 4 stacks of papers that I am NOT going to grade at home. I am not taking home as many papers -- I am taking less grades. I am doing more projects that keep the kids busy and engaged for longer periods of time. Word webs, diagrams, etc. I have gotten into a weekly routine and that helps also. I have cut my time down tremendously. I use alot of ideas from my teacher texts -- I have gotten over the idea of reinventing the wheel. Hey we pay thousands of dollars for those books so why not use them.

I hope this helps.
