Still frustrated too!
By ER

Clip to ScrapBook
Thanks for writing back so quickly. I find myself checking for new messages pretty often because I just want to get this thing solved. I, too, had 12 words this week for spelling. Today, another teacher and I decided to
try having a list of 10 "regular" words and 10 "challenge" words (all on one list). Basically, the rule is going to be that everyone has to do the first 10 words, and then they can try the final 10. We figured that the higher level students would naturally end up doing the second 10 too. I don't know! Like I said, I'm so frustrated. I'm not sure how I will score the test (will everyone
get a score out of 10 and then "bonus points," or will they be scored out of how many they attempt? I am still trying to decide. Any ideas? Hopefully I'm not being a pain by asking so many questions.
