It depends
By Cathy-Dee

Clip to ScrapBook
I guess it depends on a couple of things. First how important is it for you to attend. Some things seem much more important than others. Is this a once in a few months type of activity or expected every second or third
weekend. Once or twice a year is not a huge time committment to be able to enjoy a school-wide event.
I do understand the frustration when in the past it was done on a weekday, but I also understand the reasons behind the change if it is to allow more parents to attend. Although I like being a part of things I do think it's more important for the parents to be there to support their
children.

However if the event was not that important to me and I wasn't really involved with the major planning around it then I wouldn't feel guilty not attending.
