no passing out letters & kids have their own

My students each have a Word Work Folder containing three baseball card sleeve sheets. (buy at walmart, for 5.99, I think there are 50 in a pack) There are nine pockets on one sheet. If you give each student three sleeves, that is enough for 26 letters and a pocket for blanks (so if they loose a letter, they can make one with a blank card). This works well. I do find at times letters on the floor, but I just put them in our "lost and found" basket and kids who are missing a letter go search in there. It works great and I have done it this way for 2 years now. Let me know if this doesn't make sense or you need more clarification...janne :)
