Guilt trip
By Tammy

Clip to ScrapBook
Don't feel guilty! You're doing the right thing. I'm 31 years old, married with 2 boys age 10 and 4. Both my children need more of my time then I'm able to give them. Unfortunately, I teach at a small private school and
many activities are not optional for me. Also, many of the curriculum committee things that need to be done (meetings out of town once a month) are a mandatory thing. I'm spending more time with my students and at school then I do with my own children lately. I feel guilty about that!!! You're doing what's right for you at this time and just knowing that you will be willing to give
this time when your youngest child does not need you as much should be enough to satisfy your co-workers. If their children are grown, they have more time to give and should understand your position because their children were once young too. I wish I was in your position and had the option. Enjoy your time with your child!!!!
Have a good year!
