You hit my feelings on the head! I am so afraid of making someone feel the way you are feeling. After 4 weeks of teaching my class. I am afraid it will be very difficult to let go of some of the control. I know I can do it, I just don't want to be offensive to anyone. The kids will adjust, they always do!! My advise to you is to talk to her now. I would hope that a co-worker of mine would talk to me if I offended. The other teacher probably doesn't realize you feel this way. She is probably just doing what she thinks is needed to get ready for school. Good luck with the new year. I wish you the best.
