Is your building old? with possibly tall ceilings? I was thinking that my grandson's classroom once had a loft built in one section of it. It wasn't terribly big but the teacher put a rug on it and the kids had a reading space. I know my grandson thought it was very cool. If your hubby or the new teaher's huby was a handy kind of guy he could probably built it for a conservative amount of money. Just a thought.
