I shared my room for the last two years and one piece of advice is to make sure that the other teacher has her own space....at least her own desk and a file cabnet. I loved sharing my room and this year I really miss not having my team mate. She finally got her own space. We found that we had more time to help the kids who needed extra help. We planned together and bounced ideas off of one another. I thought it was a lot of fun. It's a shame it comes after school has started. Do you have room to fit in all the extra needed desks? What about coat space? Will you be able to take both classes to specials at the same time so you will have planning time together? Be positive I think you may find you like it a lot!
