short lunch too
By Rebecca

Clip to ScrapBook
I understand where you are coming from. On paper I have 30 min. for lunch. However, it wasn't taken into account that by the time we drop off our kids in the lunch room, finally go to the restroom, and get back to our teacher
station to eat, we have 20 min. (if we're lucky) to eatAND get back down to the cafeteria to pick them up again. Atleast our educational assistants do lunch duty and not teachers. You need to make your principal aware of the situation. This is not good for you! I teach third grade now but taught preschool for nine years. I know what it takes out of you. You need a time to relax,
get something in your stomach (without swallowing it whole) and be refreshed for the afternoon. The afternoon kids deserve to benefit from your talents as a teacher but how can they? It's NOT your fault. Tell your principal TODAY...you deserve it!!!!!!!!!
