I don't think jacko is too off base here. He is actually proving a good point. He is trying to make everyone see that change will have to come from a show of solidarity in the ranks. Not by benefit of union though since they are worse than useless. But by the little things teachers need to stand up and start demanding: better pay, more respect from both parents and students, safer work environment etc. What is so wrong with talking about these issues??? So many of you seem to act as if the mere act of discussing these problems makes you a 'bad' teacher or that you have no business even calling yourself a teacher unless you can manage to suffer in silence these injustices. Just what is up with that anyway???
