I feel bad for you
By ER

Clip to ScrapBook
Jacko, I have to say that either you are just trying to stir up some trouble and you are just making all of this up, or you have some major issues. As the poster called "T" said, you should probably stop coming to this website
because it is for teachers. I guess one reason you could be revisiting this board is that you are unsure if you made the right decision so you are going OVERBOARD trying to defend it and you are looking for support. I replied to your last post by trying to tell you that I understand your feelings, but that you should really think about the knife that you have decided to stick into
the backs of those who have not quit. Maybe you missed my message. But basically, I told you that you are just doing what everyone else does-- you identify the problem but sit back and moan about it. I'd say YOU are the one without a backbone. I mean, if your definition of a person with a backbone is someone who quits their job and says that EVERYONE ELSE is the problem (administrators, children, parents, etc), then I guess you have a big one. But otherwise, you are just running away from what IS a valued and rewarding profession to others. In my previous post, I really did mean it when I said that I was sincerely happy for you that you made a decision, but when you turn around and try to ridicule all of the people who AREN'T quitters, I have to start to feel a little defensive (I don't know- maybe my it's that darn BACKBONE of mine acting up again). But anyway, you should probably take the previous advice given and find a new website to visit. You will probably want to try monster.com or hotjobs.com, where all of the other people trying to get a typical office job post their resumes. On second thought, maybe you should go outside and practice your batting and throwing, because if you want a "valued" job (by your definition), spring training is only about 7 months away and I hear it's pretty tough to walk on to a major league team! And if that doesn't work out, you can take a "step down" and just settle to be the president of the U.S., because he only makes about 1/8 of what the baseball players make. Good luck in that green grass on the other side. Hope you don't get any grass stains!
