"I feel your Pain"

Anne,
I know how you feel. My first year of teaching I team taught with eight 2nd grade teachers. Four of them decided to have nothing to do with planning or any activites with the rest. The other four (including me)
decided to do the same thing you are doing. Well after awhile another teacher and myself were doing most of the planning and copying. The other two did the same as your two. Took, took, took and never gave.
For the past two years, going on three, I have had to work with a team of 5th grade teachers that hate one in particlar and make life basically a living H---! I had to get them all

to come to an agreement on a new reading series and let me tell you that was like pushing long, sharp nails under my own finger nails. They didn't care and just argued for what they wanted and never listened to what each series had to offer and why I felt the one that I and my partner (the hated one) liked was worth the ordering. I went to my priciple with a headache and a sever dislike for my other team members. I told him what happened and what they wanted. He choose what I and my partner wanted with the new series because it was best for our students. He also knows what he has to deal with and I don't let him forget it when he wants me to get them together. He supports me in how I feel and definately knows the other three on the team can be a royal pain the the butt. So as the new year starts this will be fun to see their reactions to what he didn't order for them. The first day back will start the WWW III of my school. NOW don't I just want to rush back to school to work in such a loving and kind team of teachers. Yeah!!!
