    I'm sure I have many weaknesses as a teacher, but failing to plan isn't one of them. Even after 24 years, I still wrote down my weekly and daily plan. Writing it kept me organized and helped with pacing over the year.

    If you don't know where you're going, how will you know if you get there? Where do you record your new ideas, goals, curric focus? And how do you know you've met your standards? And how can you prove it if asked? I think working without at least an outline for the day is a recipe for disaster.
