Clip to ScrapBook
When I was in college I liked this young man and through friends, he found out and apparently liked me also, we did the flirting ritual but it never became more than that, he moved or something; new year etc. Well, 3 years
ago, I happened to land a job in his hometown and it is at a private school which he attended. I happened to see him at church one day and couldn't believe my eyes. I had butterflies in my tummy, too. I told my husband about it, etc., then in the Fall, we sent our child to preschool and he had a child in the same class, but we never said anything to each other. The same year, in my
own second grade room I had his nephew, and I have never said anything about anything to anybody except my husband. Half way through the year, the nephew told me that he knew that I had gone to school with his uncle. So, I knew that they had discussed me. Next year, I will have their first child, and I will be anxious (he still is cute!!) But that was a different lifetime. I do know how you feel in a way. I know I didn't really give you any suggestions, but just go with the flow. Feel priviledged to have this child in your class! And enjoy the year!
