you will survive!

Clip to ScrapBook
Naturally you will treat the child the same as any other child in your room, but I do understand your apprehensiveness about making contact with your former boyfriend. It may be uncomfortable at first (actually, awkward may be a better word), but once you establish the teacher-parent-child relationship, the butterflies will be gone. I imagine the butterflies are more your nervousness about what impression will I make. You are a professional and you will make a great impression. Your situation probably is more common than you think and I am sure you will handle yourself in a professional way. Disregard posts that negate your situation and feel free to come to this board for SUPPORT when needed.
