Teachers are empoyees too

Yeah, but how loud does society whine when a teacher raise is discussed compared to pay increases in other professions? Our telephone service just went up $2.10 a month. Can you imagine how the denizens of your city would complain if you dared to tax them an equal amount for funding teacher raises? I think teachers often forget that they do perform a service and are due just compensation.
