What a JOKE!
By ER

Clip to ScrapBook
I, too, have most of the conditions mentioned in this post where I teach too. What a JOKE! I think it was Gray who mentioned that the PRISONERS are treated better! I think Gray is correct! Oh, but wait- this year, we
are having "renovations." Do you know what that means? It means we will finally be networked with our computers and will receive NEW CEILINGS! Not new lights though (and the lights we have are from who-knows-when!). Not air conditioning. Not new windows or blinds. But gosh, new CEILINGS! And I'm SO GLAD that we will be networked with our computers, because I have a big THREE in my
classroom (that are so outdated it is not even funny). I just keep plugging and try to ignore all of this but when I read all of these things from others, and know that in the winter the students can't touch the wall in my school or they will be burnt by the steam that is boiling inside, I feel just plain HORRIBLE about it.

You know, I am glad that this is a VENT board, because I never vent in school like this. I try to be positive, upbeat, and friendly because complaining will not make anything better- it will just make the problems more forefront in everyone's minds. But it feels good to be able to come here and vent. Thanks.
