A little star shined today for me
By Barb

Clip to ScrapBook
Thank you all for your kind words. Yes, it has been a tough year on our district.

I stopped into my school today and was fortunate to see my principal before he left. (I'm wondering how many people don't know he's leaving
yet...I'd hate to show up in 2 weeks and find out then!)

Anyways, on my way out, I stopped in to say good luck and congratulations to him and that we'd miss him. He said the kindest thing to me and it almost made me cry (ok..it did..but not till I got out to the car...;-) He told me that he saw a great deal of potential in me as a new teacher and hoped that I knew the impact I'd already

made in my first year. He urged me to follow whatever goals I had because he knew I could get there.

Ok..I didn't want him to leave before he said that..now I really wished he wasn't leaving!
