Youngest and the Leader
By Amy Lee

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree with the other posts. I am the leader of our department but the youngest. The oldest teacher has over 30 years of experience and another teacher has 15 years. They are always coming to my for advice which they don't take and I always have to cover for them and correct their mistakes. Being older with experience doesn't always mean you will be a better teacher. I did have a mentor when I started teaching but unfortunately she moved to a another state this year. She was truly wonderful with over 25 years of experience and help me to take over the department when she left.
