" starting back"

Teachers report back on Aug. 28-30 and students come in on Sept 4th. Usually we can get back in our classrooms the week before these dates to start setting up but not this year. Our school is getting a lot of renovations and it won't be complete until Aug 27th. Our principle is nice enough to give us half the day on the 28th and about two hours the rest. I know that most of us will be in our rooms really late that week.
