too many leaders
By All teamed out

Clip to ScrapBook
I can understand your point of view. At my school, I have another problem. We have a few newer teachers who are given leadership positions on "teams" and "committees" for planning various activities and they just seem to
go overboard.
They can make the simplest things the most complicated and convoluted processes imaginable. (They must still be in the "let's think this out" process). And they expect ALL grade levels to do the same thing.

Then, at faculty meetings, they stand up and "train" us on how to follow their procedures.
I must confess (tee hee hee) that sometimes my grade level just sits

there and laughs at them or rolls their eyes. Isn't that awful? Then later, together, we can have a five minute discussion and cut 10 steps out that process. The old saying -- two heads are better than one -- is often right.

Getting back to your point. I would ask these teachers for some input and advice. They may feel overwhelmed with the other teachers. Maybe they feel the same way that some of us have at my school.
