teacher yard sales

A teacher in our building retired last spring. All year long she would have monthly "yard sales" where she sold off her materials as she finished using them for the last time. It was GREAT for the new teachers. They got the materials and good advice on how to use them! We liked it so much that at the end of the year we organized a two day "come see what I've got" sale where we could offer stuff we didn't use to others. It's sure cheaper than the teacher store!
