I really feel for you. My school is also being renovated. At the same time, every teacher is being moved into a new classroom due to re-organization of the school. That's all fine and good, but I am terrified to set foot
in that school our first day back for fear that the custodians won't be finished moving all of that stuff from room to room. Either we will have to do it, I'm afraid, or we will have to start the year off without some of our belongings. And I am also terrified that some of our boxes will be misplaced. Not to sound like a pessimist, but too many things like this have already happened

for me to think it will all work out okay! To me, the most exciting part of a school year is the beginning, when you get to decorate and organize your classroom. How disheartening to have to face issues that keep you from doing that. I hope it all works out for you. And you're right- our vacation is hardly enough. What ever happened to "summer's off?"
