Most Embarassing Moment
By Ummm... I'd rather not...

Clip to ScrapBook
Thank you so very much for posting all of your most embarassing moments. I have just finished the first week of school, and I am just so depressed and not wanting to think about lesson plans and calling parents at this point
in time, that I REALLY needed to read some of your notes. Here's mine. When I was pregnant with my son, I had quite a bit of gas also. One day, while walking around and monitoring the class, I accidentally passed gas by one of my students. Wouldn't you know that this was the student who ALWAYS let everyone know when the teacher made a mistake. I could have died. I believe this
was the same day that my son decided to start doing his stretching exercises while in utero, and my shirt was being stretched out of shape with his foot. I guess my students all thought that either I was getting ready to have my baby or that I had an alien trying to get out!! Thanks again, folks, and have a WONDERFUL school year. Oh yes! I forgot my last embarassing moment. Like I could have forgotten THIS one. While on cold medication, I was a little drowsy one year. I was reading aloud from a Ramona Quimby book in which she wants to be the "baddest witch in the world." Well, in my loopy state, instead of being the baddest witch, she ended up being the baddest b**ch in the world! Talk about having to explain to students why you shouldn't come to school if you are taking medicine that will make you act funny. Whew!
