Okay, I teach K-2 and was doing calendar/circle with my kids. Those little guys sure are squirmy at that age!!!! Well, a maintenance worker came in, so I turned to look, and of course the darn guy had to be good looking,| so, already flustered, and now discombobulated because of 25 squirmy kids by my feet, I stumbled. But my story doesn't end there. In an effort to not step on anyone, I did that crazy dance we do when we think we are falling, whacked my wrist on the chalkrail, my foot twisted off of the chunky heeled shoe, and so, though I tried my best not to fall, I landed amongst the kiddos, and BROKE | |
my OTHER wrist. It must have been only 10 seconds, but felt like forever. Then all the hubbub and commotion due to the fact that I was in so much PAIN. And the poor maintenance guy had to call the office. Gosh. That would have to qualify as embarassing, no?
