Okay, I teach K-2 and was doing calendar/circle with my kids. Those little guys sure are squirmy at that age!!!! Well, a maintenance worker came in, so I turned to look, and of course the darn guy had to be good looking,
so, already flustered, and now discombobulated because of 25 squirmy kids by my feet, I stumbled. But my story doesn't end there. In an effort to not step on anyone, I did that crazy dance we do when we think we are falling, whacked my wrist on the chalkrail, my foot twisted off of the chunky heeled shoe, and so, though I tried my best not to fall, I landed amongst the kiddos, and BROKE
my OTHER wrist. It must have been only 10 seconds, but felt like forever. Then all the hubbub and commotion due to the fact that I was in so much PAIN. And the poor maintenance guy had to call the office. Gosh. That would have to qualify as embarassing, no?
