What's the big deal?
By Alyssa

Clip to ScrapBook
My principal does not enforce any kind of dress code, and we're all much better teachers for it. On any given day, you'll see teachers dressed in suits, khakis and polos, capris and tees, or jeans and sweaters. I choose to dress in comfortable attire which makes me more accessible to my students on days that we have projects or outdoor activities. However, there are also days in which I may look like I'm going to church. I have never had a parent or visitor to the school comment negatively on what I or any other staff member is wearing.
